To deepen the integration of industry and education and build a collaborative innovation platform for industry, academia and research, on July 2nd, a group of teachers and students from the Northeast Asia College visited the alumni enterprise, VPS (Shandong) Vacuum Equipment Co., LTD., to conduct practical research and held a cooperation signing ceremony and the unveiling ceremony of the practical base with the enterprise. Liu Changming, the dean of the Northeast Asia College, Liang Fengjun, the Party secretary, Chen Xin, the deputy Party secretary, and Han Huadong, the executive vice president of the college's alumni association, attended the event. Teacher representatives and student leaders also participated in the activity.

Liu Changming expressed his gratitude to the alumni enterprises for their in-depth participation in the college's talent cultivation work and their strong support for the college's development and construction. He pointed out that the college attaches great importance to the dual improvement of students' theoretical knowledge and practical ability. This promotion of jointly building a social practice base with enterprises is an important measure to promote the integration of industry, academia and research and enhance talent cultivation. He emphasized that in the future, the college will take the construction of social practice bases as a link to promote exchanges and cooperation between the college and enterprises and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

Yang Renbin, an alumnus of the 1997 class of the Korean Language major and the general manager of VPS(Shandong) Vacuum Equipment Co., LTD., said that the joint establishment of the practice base with his Alma mater this time is not only the responsibility and commitment of the enterprise to give back to the university, but also a vivid practice of promoting school-enterprise cooperation. The enterprise will fully cooperate in terms of technical support, internship positions, etc., promote resource sharing, and provide a practical platform for students' growth.

Liang Fengjun and Yang Renbin signed the "Agreement on the Joint Construction of the 'Shandong University Student Social Practice Base' by Shandong University and VPS(Shandong) Vacuum Equipment Co., LTD." on behalf of both sides. Liu Changming and Yang Renbin jointly unveiled the plaque for the base.

During the event, representatives of teachers and students from the Northeast Asia College visited the intelligent production workshop of the enterprise, gaining an on-site understanding of the application of vacuum equipment in the semiconductor, new energy and other fields as well as the core technology research and development achievements, and directly experiencing the connection between theoretical knowledge and industrial practice.

The Northeast Asia College attaches great importance to the cooperation between the college and enterprises. The establishment of this social practice base lays a foundation for the college to enrich its talent cultivation model and promote the cultivation of compound talents. It also provides direction and goals for the college to explore new mechanisms of cooperation between the college and enterprises and new models of talent cultivation. In the next stage, both the college and the enterprise will deepen cooperation in optimizing the talent cultivation plan, aligning enterprise research topics, and coordinating internships and practical training, striving to create a model of industry-education integration.
