On October 5th, the 100,000-ton BDO and 120,000-ton PBAT co-production project of Xinjiang Shuguanglvhua Biotechnology Co., Ltd. successfully produced premium BDO. Just 12 days later, it smoothly produced high-quality PBAT products. The first batch of PBAT products was officially launched in the market on October 11th, marking that the project has fully entered the stage of production and operation.

The project is located in Shuangfeng Industrial Park, Tiedun Pass City, Second Division of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. With a total investment of 3.69 billion yuan, it covers the entire process of technological equipment from the pretreatment of natural gas raw materials to the output of terminal chemical products, as well as the supporting public utility systems and auxiliary production facilities. The project uses natural gas as raw material to produce 1,4-butanediol (BDO) and biodegradable material PBAT. As the core product, PBAT can effectively alleviate the pollution problem caused by traditional plastics and has significant practical significance for promoting ecological and environmental protection. Meanwhile, the large-scale production and application of this product will help promote the green transformation and sustainable development of the chemical industry, which is in line with the global development needs for environmental protection and efficient resource utilization.
